  2. I'm three weeks into the Dukan diet, and have lost 6 lbs. Menopause is making this a challenge, but I wanted to get on top of the gradual weight gain that has crept up on me.  I have a total of 20 to lose, and found this week I plateaued.  This message was perfect as a reminder to stick with it, understanding how the body wants to hold onto the extra fat.  Thank you for the encouragement!

Hi Jerree, I started the diet 3 days ago and have seen positive results.  I was able to loose a lot of weight in my youth by using the Atkins diet but now that I'm 50 and perimenopausal, the weight wasn't really budging.  So I'm hoping this is what works for me.  Thanks for the videos.  Jacquie in Guelph, Ontario

  7. hey pretty lady, you have done amazingly well on the Dukan Diet, I wish I could say the same for myself, I'm ashamed to say that I have still not even finished reading the book, I got a bit bored of the things he kept repeating that I put it down and never picked it up again, my bad!  I really must get my mind into gear and read the rest and try to start this, I am stuck in a rut with my weight and it's all just wearing me down!  You look beautiful and I am proud of how far you have come, I know you can do it 🙂 Have a great day my sweet friend, hugs, Susan xox 🙂

  8. I think that that diet is a huge commitment and you are a very amazing woman, you did great! I am not so strong as you are and plus I have my husband that gets upset if I don't eat what he cooks LOL

  12. Hi Jerree,  Thanks for the update.  I haven't checked in in a while.  I'm 26 pounds down.  I have another 24 to go. I have been a little frustrated because I've been stuck in the same range for about 2 weeks now.  I have actually gone the opposite of cheating in that I'm just not that hungry anymore and I'm not eating enough.  Plus, I haven't been drinking as much water as I was.  I just need to get back on track with the water, eat more (I thought I'd never say that, for instance today I have had  3 eggs (1 yolk) with a few bites of left over pork loin,  a couple of sugar free jellos, and I just had a couple of ground turkey patties with asparagus.  I'm going to force myself to eat the yogurt and oat bran.  I think I have sent my body into starvation mode.  I'll get back on track tomorrow and amp up the exercise as well.  Thanks again.

Jerree, this was a wonderful video and I agree with you, you have to be ready to embrace whatever you are doing wholeheartedly.  You look fantastic and you deserve praise because whatever anyone does losing weight and sticking to a lifestyle is a discipline and can be difficult.  You are a wonderful inspiration to me to continue my path and journey in weight loss.  God Bless you Jerree……love ya……xoxo….Debbie

  14. Wow, what a lot of amazing information! Maybe we need to move farther south, so we are never cold!!
    I will have to look into that lifestyle change. Yes, I agree about the carbs, but does my body crave them!!!
    As we age, healthier eating choices are so important, although I don't always follow that advice, it is hard to say no sometimes! I also am a firm believe in "moving" to stay young. Whether it be walking, jogging, taking a class at a gym, swimming, etc. we have to keep our bodies moving 🙂

  15. What a great video Jerree. You look amazing and I am so happy for you. Your energy comes through! One thing that has helped me with sugar cravings is walking. In the morning and evening I get cravings and I do my Leslie Sansone Walking DVDs and the craving is gone. I feel the same way as you do. I want to preserve my health as long as possible. Walking and eating less carbs are two things that I do too. Congratulations again on your success. Much love…Laura

  17. I have now ordered the book and am determined to give this diet/ lifestyle my best shot. I did the Atkins diet quite a few years ago and felt really good on riding myself of my carb addiction, the only thing that concerns me is that the Dukan diet may have a detrimental effect on my sikin and hair. Did you have any such problems ?
